Pacaderms for Progress is a non-partisan public policy advocacy organization. We are not affiliated with a political party or any political candidate under the rules of the Federal Election Commision.
Our meaning of Pacaderm is a play on words. A Pachyderm is a hoofed mammal that has a very thick skin, such as an elephant or a hippopotamus. The Elephant is the symbol of the Republican Party. We understand that those of us who are moderate Republicans who want to move beyond partisanship will be a target during this election cycle. Therefore, Pacaderms for Progess was launched to forward common sense ideas in a non-partisan environment.
